St. David’s Athletics Booster Club Needs You!!!
Dear Parents,
Our new school year is up and running and so are our sports programs. Last year was such a great success with so many parents volunteering to help out with our PE and sports programs and we are striving for that success again this year! I couldn’t have done it without all of you and I will be in need of even more help this year to build our sports programs, PE Department and our ongoing sports complex enhancement project. ALL CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR HOUR REQUIREMENTS:
· Popcorn Sales on the 1st Friday of every month
· Donation of popcorn and/or popcorn bags
· Merchandise sales at various school events
· Concession stand sales
· Donations of office supplies (special paper and ink), concession stand snacks, athletic equipment, etc…
· Field maintenance
· Onsite security during home games (during school, after school, weekends)
· Fundraisers throughout the year
· Carnival Booth (twice a year)
· Spirit Banners for field and activity center
· Coaching for various sports (girls and boys)
· Coordinator for phone calls to volunteers
· Putting together new equipment on weekends
· Printing certificates / typing from home using Microsoft XP or Excel
· Field Day assistance (February)
· Assistance during class for special units
· Booster Club members (President, Vice President, Alumni)
· Work on committee to upgrade athletic facilities
· Several positions to copy newsletters during the year (color and double-sided – approx. 500 copies)
· Coordinators for each after school sport (17) to handle schedules, etc…
· Office person for a couple hours

· Boys J.V. and Varsity Basketball in August, Grades 4th-8th
· Girls Varsity Soccer in August, Grades 5th-8th
· Cross Country/ Runner’s Club in August, Grades 2nd-8th
· Girls J.V. and Varsity Cheerleading in August, Grades 4th-8th
· Boys Varsity Soccer in October, Grades 5th-8th
· Girls J.V. and Varsity Basketball in October, Grades 4th-8th
· Boys J.V. and Varsity Volleyball in December, Grades 4th-8th
· Girls Softball in December, Grades 5th-8th
· Boys and Girls J.V. and Varsity Track and Field in January, Grades 4th-8th
· Primary Boys and Girls Track and Field in January, Grades 2nd-3rd
· Boys Varsity Baseball in February, Grades 5th-8th
· Girls J.V. and Varsity Volleyball in February, Grades 4th-8th
